Google celebrates Web’s history -

September 5, 2011

Google celebrates the Web’s history and with that came a cool graphic.  The interactive graphic is like a light to a moth for someone like me who at one time was an early adopter and now thinks of himself as sort of a Webhead, someone who’s entire life revolves around the web.  If you’re like me then you’ll enjoy the graphic.

Hangin’ In, Loading Up – 9/1/10

September 1, 2010

I never got rid of the my previously mentioned puts… They are not even near break-even now at $1.00. But indications are that I should repurchase them soon, just in case I did sell.

So what am I going to do? Buy more. Just a word of caution. Don’t do this. (Wish me luck)

Quick Trading Update – 9/1/10

September 1, 2010

Just a real quick update on the puts I bought Monday.

I’m still in them. I had some problems with my trading platform and should have dumped them before now but I’m currently near break-even and my indicators are not saying that the Q’s are going to break above this level so I’m going to stay in them for a little while and see what develops.

Quick Funny – Feel My Pain

August 19, 2010

I made a trade shortly after noon that at one point was $300+ in the money. Then It was losing over $2k. I was sick to my stomach.

Nothing like a good whipsaw to humble a person, huh?

Update (3:26pm EDT): Bailed at $1.05 for a $4100 profit when momentum started to dwindle and I got tired of watching the trade.

After The Crash – TRIX and WD50

May 10, 2010

You can't count the market down until the fat lady sings.

"Hey! Where is this fat lady? I don't see no fat lady."

"You're a computer. You can't see."

"OKAY! I got some buying to do."

That seemed to be the market for the day. Although TRIX was still down below the mid-mark the WD50 moved back up above the mid-mark after only dropping below it Friday. Since it has to close below that mark and then must be below it to trade, this volatility is looking like a bear trap, so we wait. Lots of air (gap) under today's closing price. With the flatness of today's trading it looks like we might not have to wait long, eh?
