I don’t want you to read this. I don’t need the competition. I’m also going to write more about this sooner rather than later. However, I just can’t contain myself.
Here is an opportunity that is just in it’s infancy. Like Walmart when it had one store or the internet when it had just a bunch of Academics using it.
It’s called “Simplified Domains”. Just a few examples of what is coming:
RO.BIN used to be ROBIN.COM or ROBIN.NET or ROBIN.ORG or… Well you get the idea.
MU.SIC is already been snatched up. So has AUCT.ION and TRA.VEL.
It’s a work in progress but I expect this to be the next internet land-grab of 21st Century. Just like domain names disappeared (no longer available) in the mid 90′s this is even bigger because there won’t be category domain names like .com and .net anymore if this takes off.
