Airnergy Charger Generates Electricity From WiFi Signals – The Consumerist

Thanks to The Consumerist for this little beauty.  My question is, “Why can’t these things be made to capture energy from other signals including static.  I had this idea of an energy siphon that worked using a similar fashion but was told that there is not enough demand for something like that.

Aptera — Engadget

I’ve been telling everyone about this vehicle.  Seats two and it’s suppose to get 200 mpg and another 100 via plug-in and solar.   I usually just give them the link to Aptera.com.  Today I found that engadet has an “everything Aptera via engadget”.  Still, It’s interesting to go to Aptera. com to learn more about the car.  Crazy, cool car!

Check this out.  I don’t know where Inhabitat gets their information but here we are struggling to get 100m/160k per gallon of gas, being told that the public would never buy it, yaddi,yaddi, yadda…  Double the size.  Halve the MPG and still it would sell. I think it would make a nice city car.  What do you think?
