Quick Funny – Feel My Pain

August 19, 2010

I made a trade shortly after noon that at one point was $300+ in the money. Then It was losing over $2k. I was sick to my stomach.

Now it’s $900+ in the black and climbing. I am now elated. The thing is, my charts are now telling me to prepare to bail.

Nothing like a good whipsaw to humble a person, huh?


Update (3:26pm EDT): Bailed at $1.05 for a $4100 profit when momentum started to dwindle and I got tired of watching the trade.

MyLifeIsAverage – Life is pretty normal today

All humor must have a small modicum of truth in it to be funny.  I have often referred to the funnies in the newspaper as “The educational section”.  I have to give credit or blame to my dad.  He’s the greatest! 

My 14 year-old son recently introduced me to MLIA.  I haven’t stopped laughing.  It not only serves as barometer for us ol’ folks to judge the sanity and sensibilities of our progeny but also provides a daily dose of common-sense humor that we can all relate to. 

I’m suggesting that we all take a few moments each day to laugh at ourselves and here is a site that will help.
